Activision just released a new trailer for the upcoming Quake sequel, Quake 4. Downloads are available at 3D Gamers and FilePlanet. The movie has an impressive 1280x720 resolution, so the download weighs in at 164MB. Based off the Doom 3 engine, Quake 4 is a graphically satisfying looking game, as is evidenced in the 2 minute long trailer. Some of the initial plot is laid out in a typical cinematic fashion, but most of the trailer focuses on showing in-engine combat footage.

jericho1ne (June 13, 2005):Quake 4, or "Shiny Plastic-looking Monsters Pt 2", as i like to call it. It should be sold as a Doom III expansion pack, not a standalone game...
