Post subject: Will Nintendo go 100% handheld if the Revolution fails?
I've been thinking a bit about this. The Nintendo Revolution seems to be Nintendo's last attempt at sticking around the console market. Console sales have been dropping off with each that they have released over the past few generations. With the price of the consoles and game development costs going so high, will Nintendo (who's only source of revenue is the game market, as opposed to Sony and Nintendo which are multi-billion dollar corporations regardless) back out of the console wars in order to nurture the majority market share they have in the handheld market?
If their market share drops below 10%, with no resistence on the low end going forward from there, they're not going to have a choice really.

Too bad they don't have more titles... they might have had a go at the next gen if they released early, and with an insanely low price (take a financial hit to stay in the game.)
But, I foresee them moving strictly to handhelds as far as hardware is concerned. I'm sure they will stay in the game development biz, but they are losing a bunch of money on the consoles.
